I am in my last term for my Masters of Arts program in Psychedelics and Consciousness Studies at the University of Ottawa.
I did my fieldwork with Yage (Ayahuasca) near Sasaima, Colombia. Now I’m working on my practicum with Psychedelia-Stiftung and graduating in July this year.
I recently started getting involved with Psymposia, the only organization I’m aware of doing actual autocritique in the field of psychedelic studies.
I’m working on Mindscape Collective, the world’s largest database of research on psychedelics, meditation, dreaming, and consciousness exploration. It’s live, and updated periodically. I have ambitions for it that should manifest when I’m ready.
I’m happy at home in SLC with family and community. Had an amazing 6 weeks in Asia 6 months ago, and will be heading back to Europe for a month this summer.
Camping, video gaming, fun technical projects, baking bread, and facing the hellish reality we live in head-on with absurdity and humor has been keeping me relaxed lately.
Enumerating what I’ve read since the last update is an impossible task, but I’ll list a few sticking in my mind.
This website has existed in essentially this form for over a decade. The current set up is still working well, and it’s tough to justify a change. So I wont!
